With a 70% increase in exhibitors compared to the previous year, the REITSPORTMESSE Gießen lives up to its name: as Hessen's largest equestrian experience, it will transform the exhibition grounds in Gießen into a world of equestrian experiences for the fifth time from October 11 - 13 , attracting riders, horse owners and horse fans from the region and beyond. A total of over 170 exhibitors will present a wide range of products and services for horses and riders on around 9,000 square meters of exhibition space. From riding equipment and stable supplies to feed and care products to riding clothing and accessories - visitors will find everything a rider's heart desires.
Among them is the start-up "Lovelstar", which has gained notoriety through its participation in the TV production "Die Höhle der Löwen". The young company specializes in the production of stirrup LEDs to increase the safety of horses and riders on the road. Western stirrups with integrated LEDs are now also available to match the new Western Riding exhibition area.
The specialist store Sleipnir, which specializes in equipment for Icelandic horses, will be there for the first time. Here, fans of Icelandic horses will find high-quality riding accessories, clothing and care products for the increasingly popular horse breed.
Western area added
New and for the first time is the new Western Riding exhibition area, to which an entire hall will be dedicated for the first time this year. In addition to western accessories, saddlery and clothing, there will also be an additional riding ring where numerous western demonstrations and competitions will take place. In cooperation with Ralf Birkenhof, the popular Western Cup will be held under the motto: "Fair goes first! The versatility of the horses and their riders will be put to the test in the four disciplines of Western Horsemanship, Trail Course, Pole Bending and Barrel Race. More Western flair awaits visitors in the catering area: the "Western Saloon" offers an authentic atmosphere with appropriate cuisine and music. A stage for over 150 line dancers also invites visitors to join in.
Show program with three riding rings
An extensive program of specialist lectures and workshops will be offered on all three days of the trade fair. Experts and renowned trainers will share their knowledge on various topics such as horse care, training techniques, health and much more.
A special highlight will be the spectacular jumping show with Evan Leuret. In a duel against a horse, the Frenchman will master various obstacles. The demonstrations by Gand Prix rider and renowned trainer Uta Gräf and horsemanship and equitation instructor Peter Kreinberg also promise to be particularly exciting.
